Such systems can accumulate energy during periods of high generation and deliver it when consumption is high or production is low, guaranteeing a power supply. 

Hybrid Power Systems: Hybrid systems integrate RE with conventional power generation technologies to increase the performance and availability of power systems. For example, blending solar with diesel power can minimize the usage of fuel and emissions while giving steady energy. 

Smart Grid Technologies: Smart grids utilize automated and advanced methods in controlling and monitoring the electricity delivery system. They help improve systems that allow the integration of Renewable Energy Sources into the grid, improve the stability of the grid, and minimize energy losses. The government and other private institutions have to design proper financial structures for the development of renewable energy sources. 
  • Public Awareness and Support: Thus, raising the public’s concern about the merits of renewable energy and transition technologies is crucial to ensuring their support and acceptance. It is also important to note that education and outreach programs are effective in raising and strengthening the public’s confidence in energy conservation measures. 

Future Prospects 

However, based on the current situation, it can be said that the energy transition in the Philippines is possible. Thus, government support, improved policies, and cooperation between the private and public sectors will play a critical role in the further development of transition technologies. Thus, if the country addresses the problems of infrastructure and financing, it can provide a sustainable energy outlook decrease its reliance on traditional sources of energy, and curtail the negative impacts on the environment.
